Volunteers are an integral part of our organization. There are a number of opportunities for volunteering with the Coastal Women's Shelter. Below is a list of current volunteer needs. Come by the office to apply or call us, at (252) 638-4509, for more information.
- The Helping Hands Boutique needs volunteers to assist with merchandising, sales, working the registers, and in-take. Call the store, at (252) 633-6305, to make arrangements.
- We will be needing volunteers to help with the 5K Run for Shelter on May 19.
- Volunteers are also needed to help out in the office, answering phones and with other administrative tasks.
- Child care volunteers are needed to help during the Domestic Violence Support Group.

Sales associates, and volunteers to sort and assist with merchandising, are needed at the Helping Hands Boutique.
The Safe House depends on volunteers for child care, client transportation, staff relief, and basic household and landscape maintenance.
Help us out with the 5K Run for Shelter coming up June 22nd.
